The runner-up in the 2003 Miss Korea contest is apparently a daughter-in-law of Unification Church founder Moon Sun-myung and now models for U.S. gun maker Kahr Arms, which is owned by the Moonies.
Blogger An Chi-yong on Monday wrote the model who appears on the website of Massachusetts-based Kahr Arms is Park Ji-yea (31), the wife of Moon's fourth son Kook-jin (40).
According to the official website of the Miss Korea Pageant, Park was born in 1979, ran in the 2003 contest representing North Jeolla Province and finished as the runner-up.
At the time, she was taking a leave of absence from Dongguk University, where she was a drama sophomore.
According to the Unification Church History website, Park married Moon Jr. at a church facility in Korea in 2004. She appears to be his second wife.
Moon Jr. is the chairman of the Unification Church's global foundation and the head of Tongil Group, a conglomerate owned by the church.
